In House Counsel - Los Angeles, CA
We are hiring an experienced In House Counsel for a skilled nursing provider with multiple facilities. This is a full-time leadership role with real impact.
ResponsibilitiesAdvise leadership and facility teams on regulatory, licensing and compliance matters
Manage litigation and claims and coordinate with outside counsel
Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, vendor and payer agreements
Support survey responses, CDPH matters and corporate transactions
Develop policies and train staff on legal and compliance topics
JD and active California Bar membership in good standing
5+ years of legal experience; healthcare, long-term care or SNF experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of CMS, CDPH, HIPAA and elder care regulations
Excellent judgment, writing and negotiation skills
Able to work independently as a trusted advisor to leadership

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Full-time, on-site
Compensation: $160,000 - $210,000 per year + benefits
